The Comcity office park, with a total area of 430,000 sq.m., is located in the south-west of Moscow, in close proximity to Vnukovo Airport. This is the first project of this level in New Moscow; in its scale it can only be compared with the Skolkovo construction project.
The office park contains an underground shopping and entertainment center, class A office space, a fitness center, a hotel complex, a kindergarten, a medical center, etc.
The complex was designed by the international architectural bureau Cigler Marani Architects. Their main goal was to create a building with innovative architecture, creative design and energy-saving technologies.
WellSun helped solve this problem. The glass facades of the building are covered with gray and white vertical awnings. External sun protection prevents solar thermal radiation from entering the room, and therefore helps save energy, which is spent on air conditioning.
